Dr. Clemens graduated from Michigan State University in veterinary medicine when she was 23. She soon moved to California and has been here ever since. After owning and managing Woodside Veterinary Clinic for 30 years she decided to relinquish her management duties and focus on her passion, small animal medicine and surgery.

When not helping pets and their people, she rides, trains and shows her two horses in dressage. Along with her husband they own three mixed Siamese rescue cats and three horses. Together they enjoy hiking, scuba diving, opera, ballet and musicals. She can add to her accomplishments running in the Honolulu Marathon and rafting the Grand Canyon in her own raft.

She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the Veterinary Dental Forum and the International Veterinary Associate of Pain Management.
